With their debut CD "Martini Sprite", the band BLOND, with only German lyrics, describes the condition of restless East German youth. The combination of different, seemingly incompatible worlds is a BLOND specialty both in terms of content and live performance and offers what is known as “Las Vegas glamour”. Topics like mansplaining, generation tinder, rest stop romance and bad menstrual pain are equally important for the band and are considered feminist without even using the word "feminism". Formation dance and rap singing, power pop and magic have long belonged together in stage performances.
