Founded in 1994 by school friends, the band now plays right at the top. In the meantime, the music of the Broilers is released on their own label "Skull & Palms Recordings", the last three albums reached gold status, the two most recently released longplayers both managed to jump to number one in the German charts. Live, too, the band has consistently been one of the country's biggest crowd pullers for many years. "Puro Amor" is their latest album and is about love and letting go. About moving on, even when it's hard. 46 minutes and 14 songs about real, true, great and pure love, with all its ups and downs. Characterized by massive horn sections, offbeats, soul, rock, flirtations with power pop and kitsch alongside oppressive walls of guitars, fat choirs and banging drums. Not many dare to do this eclectic mix. But the Broilers don't want to imagine it any other way.
