After Bohemian Rhapsody, they should have just stopped! But nobody did, so on top of everything there is Grossstadtgeflüster. From the outside, no stone has been left unturned from GSGF since the release of their instant evergreen "Fickt-Euch-Allee" 4 years ago. The current album Trips&Ticks is a kind of alternative life guide, as in "Feierabend". A guide to self-destruction as in "Neue Freunde". Or maybe just cynicism as a result of the inner (over)maturity fermented into Sprit? One doesn't know. Musically, Trips&Ticks is sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always with boom and occasionally bumbum. Chock full of synthesizers and happy hippieness. The perfect soundtrack for sweating, raving and pogoing, blow-drying your hair, cleaning, cooking, taking over the world, ironing crocheted doilies, learning a new language, on the beach, horseback riding or as the musical background for a well-groomed full-on drunk during a speed date with a glass of Chateau Checkmate and candlelight.
