MandelKokainSchnaps, or MKS for short, cannot be pigeonholed. The style of the band, which was founded in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic, can best be described as rock-pop with punk influences. In addition to loud rock sounds with catchy melodies, MKS can also play epic goosebump ballads with orchestral sounds. They stand for uncomfortable political and socio-critical themes. Female power in particular is a major theme for the four-piece band centred around frontwoman Wenke. A performance by MKS is like a rollercoaster ride of emotions from which they do not release their audience - until the last note falls silent and the band bows to its audience one last time.
