The three band members Yonas, Hirsch and Max Power know each other from their school days and have been making music together ever since. They now have over 20 years of band history behind them with eight albums and countless concerts, but there is no end in sight. MONTREAL make honest punk rock and have always remained true to themselves: They have their own label, they manage themselves, seek help mainly from their own circle of friends and network and they rarely call in outside help for anything else. MONTREAL can still look forward to a steadily growing audience - their secret recipe? To take all those who come to the concert as seriously as possible and all those who have made this possible through their work - but not to take themselves too seriously. This attitude also characterises their latest album, with which we will be welcoming them back to the DEICHBRAND Festival in 2025.
