The Berlin band Smile And Burn was founded in 2009 and since then played numerous concerts at home and abroad. After the departure of two members and a break, the band recorded a new album in German. This was created in collaboration with the Donots in the Heavy Kranich Studio in Münster and was recorded in a 20-day bunker stay. The album, titled "Morgen anders," will be presented at festivals in 2021. Smile and Burn have undergone a steady musical evolution since their formation in 2009. Initially, they played a mixture of punk rock and hardcore inspired by bands like Rise Against and Boysetsfire. Over the years, however, they added more and more elements from other genres such as indie rock and pop punk and managed to develop their own distinctive sound. Their fifth studio album "Morgen Anders" marks another turning point in their musical development, as it is the first album they recorded in German. The lyrics are more personal and introspective than on their previous albums, showing the band's maturity and creative development. However, they still manage to maintain their characteristic sound and delight their fans.
