Still Talk

Still Talk is a five-piece pop-punk/emo band from Cologne, Germany, consisting of Ben, Lucas, Kevin, Micha and Tanja. After first shows with William Ryan Key from Yellowcard and Pale Waves, the band releases their first EP A Short Collection of Songs About How Easily I'm Distracted in 2022. The songs of the EP are played for the first time in Germany on radio stations like 1LIVE, MDR Sputnik, BR Puls and Deutschlandfunk. The EP is also reviewed by the music press: VISIONS, DIFFUS, FUZE and many others write about the record. After an extensive tour of Germany in 2023, the band's debut album, which counts 11 songs, will be released on the Cologne-based indie label hithome in the fall of the same year. "Running with a smile through this cold ass world." from the song Move to L.A., broadly describes the mood of the album, says vocalist Tanja, which indeed sounds like it wasn't made in Cologne at all, but California. So Still Talk - whose band name comes from the song "Let it Happen" by Jimmy Eat World - mix emo, pop-punk, post-hardcore and nu-metal elements on their first record without losing the catchiness of unique melodies, creating an exceptionally authentic sound that nevertheless sounds familiar.
