CASHLESS PAYMENT means paying without cash. Instead, you can use the RFID chip on your festival wristband to pay at all booths on the festival grounds. The chip acts as a digital wallet.

This has several advantages for you:

• Your balance is right on your wrist, so you won’t lose any cash and can enjoy the concerts without carrying a wallet
• The fast and straightforward payment process reduces wait times and lines
• View transactions online at any time and download receipts
• Conveniently withdraw any remaining balance after the festival via the CASHLESS Portal
• Don’t worry: Everything is completely free for you – there are no hidden costs

Soon you’ll be able to top up your balance on the CASHLESS Portal via the website or app, so you’ll be all set before the festival even starts.

Here’s how it works:

1. Open the CASHLESS Portal and create an account using your email address (you don’t have to use the same email address you used to purchase your ticket)
2. Fill out the form, set a password, and link your ticket by entering the barcode number.
3. Now click on “Top Up+” and select an amount to top up.
4. Select the appropriate payment method, complete the payment, and your balance will appear in your wallet.
5. At the festival, you’ll receive your festival wristband with the RFID chip. Your pre-loaded balance will be automatically linked.

On the CASHLESS portal, you can use the following payment methods:

• Google Pay
• Apple Pay
• Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)
• PayPal

As usual, bring your ticket (digital or printed) to the festival grounds’ entrances and simply exchange it there for a festival wristband with an RFID chip.

If you have already loaded credit onto your account via the CASHLESS Portal in advance, your pre-loaded credit will be transferred to the chip when your ticket is scanned, linking your CASHLESS account to the chip on your wristband.

Note: If you purchased multiple tickets in a single order with friends, make sure that each of you uses the correct ticket at check-in – the one you linked in the CASHLESS Portal.

Even if you’ve registered on the CASHLESS portal, you’ll still need to bring your festival tickets to check-in, along with a form of ID for age verification. The rest happens automatically.

Important: If you’re camping at one of our campsites or have purchased an upgrade, we’ll need your festival ticket and your camping or upgrade ticket so we can give you the correct wristband.

Of course, the fastest way is to top up your balance in advance via the CASHLESS Portal so you can get started right away when you arrive!

Once you’re there, you have several options for topping up your balance:

• Already created an account? Then you can top up your balance at any time via the CASHLESS Portal
• Fast Top-Up: Simply scan the QR code on the chip with your smartphone, follow the link, and top up your balance online in just a few seconds.
• Self Top-Up: At stations throughout the venue, just hold your chip up, select the amount, and pay.
• Top-Up & Support Station: Here, you can not only get help but also top up your balance directly with our staff – this is the only place where you can top up with cash!

Credit can be topped up at the Top-Up Stations using the following payment methods: PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Mastercard Debit, Maestro, Girocard, Mastercard Credit, Visa Debit, VPay, Visa. Please note: No Amex!

CASHLESS PAYMENT is what is known as a closed-loop system. This means that payments can be made even when offline. The transaction data is simply stored temporarily and transmitted later!

Payments throughout the festival grounds can be made EXCLUSIVELY using the RFID chip!

You can top up your balance in advance via the CASHLESS portal, or on-site with cash or electronically at the self-service top-up stations and the Top-Up & Support Station. Our staff will be happy to assist you!

You’ll find all locations on the festival map well in advance of the festival.

Whenever you make a payment on the premises, you can ask our staff to check your current balance.

You can also check your balance at the self-service top-up stations on the premises:

1. Select “Check Balance” on the display
2. Hold your RFID chip up to the sensor pad
3. Your current balance will be displayed

Your personal account on the CASHLESS Portal also shows your balance and all transactions at any time.

You can easily withdraw your remaining balance free of charge starting Wednesday, July 22, 2026, via the CASHLESS Portal.

To do so, simply log in and click “Start Withdrawal” in the Wallet.

The balance will be refunded via bank transfer within 14 days of your request. If you encounter any issues, please contact us by email at cashless@deichbrand.de

There is no special festival currency. You will continue to pay in euros throughout the festival grounds!

All deposit refunds are also processed through the CASHLESS system. Whether it’s cans from the SuperStore or cups in the infield – everything is handled through your chip.

You can find receipts for all your purchases at any time in the CASHLESS Portal under “Wallet” and download them there.
